Do you feel bloated, stomach  acidity or burning sensation after eating?  How about experiencing heartburn, sour belching, indigestion, and constipation most of the time? If your answer is yes, then you obviously have hyperacidity.

 Hyperacidity which is also known as acid reflux is a term used to describe a condition when the stomach secretes excessive acids resulting into various discomforts enumerated above. This condition when not given due treatment will  lead to gastritis and peptic ulcer in the long run. To avoid getting worse, it is very important to get neceassary treatment as soon as possible.

The good news is... the treatnent is

not even costly.  There is a very effective all-natural cure for hyperacidity. You need not take antacids or any synthetic medication at all.  You just have to undergo the natural treatment called guava tea therapy. This is done by drinking concoction of boiled guava leaves.

You can make this concoction by following this very simple method:  Gather 10 young leaves of guava, if the leaves are not large enough, add some more leaves.  Wash the leaves thoroughly.  Boil the leaves in 4 cups of water.  Once it boils, lessen the fire and let it boil some more for 10 minutes to release the enzymes.

Drink the concoction while still warm just as when you drink your coffee to fully ingest its potency.  Don’t treat this guava concoction like refreshment.  This is why you are not to drink it cold. Never put in the refrigerator to cool before drinking.  This will not give you the healing that you need.

 The concoction is only effective when you drink it warm.  This is why you are discouraged from boiling large amount of leaves and storing the concoction in the refrigerator because when you do this, the concoction loses its potency.   Just boil enough young guava leaves for your immediate consumption.   This process has to be repeated as many times as you can for a day on a regular basis until you get the necessary healing.  If you can do it every one or two hours within the day, it will speed up your healing

Along with guava leaves therapy, you also have to do some drastic changes in your diet and lifestyle.  Here are the things to follow:

  1. Eat hydrating diet which consists of food with soup but not
    sour soup. Also eat more of juicy fruits that are not sour such as jicamas or singkamas, pears, watermelon, melon and the likes.  Sour fruit such as citrus and likes of pineapple, raw mangoes and the likes are not advisable.  Any sour food is acidic.  Once you taste the food is sour, it is automatically acidic whether it be dish or fruits or anything. 
  2. Drink enough water every day but not ice cold water.  This means at least 8  to 9 glasses of rooom temperature water all through the day.
  3. Avoid getting too much stressed because this triggers hyperacidity.
  4. Do not drink coffee; it is the primary reason why most coffee drinkers are acidic.
  5. Avoid chocolates, soda drinks, and alcoholic drinks because they also trigger acidity in your stomach.
  6. Engage in regular exercise. Lack of body activity makes one acidic.
  7. Get enough sleep because natural detoxification is performed in our system when we are asleep.  If we lack sleep, our system can’t do its job fully well.
  8. Avoid synthetic medicine especially pain reliever and antibiotics.
  9. Avoid over-eating especially at night before you go to bed, when the digestive system do not have time to digest the food anymore
  10. Eat more vegetables and fruits that are not sour.

If you can make permanent changes in your diet and lifestyle, then you can live a life minus the discomforts brought about by hyperacidity. Besides the discomfort, you should be aware that a highly acidic body is prone to Cancer.  Of course nobody wants to get the big C so better start making changes in your food and lifestyle now.
